All data encryption systems possess a weak point: the way the secret keys are distributed, which opens backdoors. LevelQuantum wants to develop a satellite-based Quantum Key Distribution, using the unbreakable laws of physics, in order to create a mature and turnkey product.
The target is the cybersecurity market, divided into three customer groups: early adopters, hi-tech companies, governmental organizations. The value offered to the clients is based on unconditional security with untrusted devices (device independent), high quantum entropy rates, real-time monitoring and integration with ICT systems.
The start-up is developing a product which will operate through fiber networks in order to reach early customers; the long-term goal is to partner with a satellite constellation operator and earn by selling access to quantum services globally.
