SOLARIS Industry Day 2022

To support the preparation of the SOLARIS initiative on Space-Based Solar Power, to be proposed at CMIN22, ESA is organising the SOLARIS Industry Day.

The event will take place on October 18, 2022 from 09:00 to 17:00 CEST at ESA's European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, and online.

The Industry Day will consist of:

• Presentations from ESA outlining the SOLARIS preparatory programme

• Interactive discussion on SOLARIS implementation process

• Presentations from European industry actors on their system-level vision for Space-Based Solar Power

• Bilateral meetings between ESA and selected entities

• Opportunities for discussion among participating entities

All industrial and academic entities with relevant capabilities to the development of Space-Based Solar Power are invited to join the event.
